The San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District (SBVMWD) Baseline Feeder Extension-South Pipeline, using Proposition 13 funds, developed the Baseline Feeder Extension South pipeline to:
- Manage groundwater basins by transferring water to local purveyors;
- Allow conjunctive use of multiple basins and the State Water Project by water-wheeling to areas outside of the groundwater basin; and
- Allow transmission within the City of San Bernardino water system.
