Los Angeles World Airports’ Manchester Square/Bellford Area Noise Mitigation Program involved the voluntary acquisition of 2,240 dwelling units – 2,000 apartment units and 240 single-family residences. The FAA program allowed voluntary acquisition of both single-family residential units and multi-family units within the program’s noise contour area.
