System Options Setup

The system options for displaying data in the Paragon Data Viewer can be pre-setup before delivering to users. To bring up the Setup window is to click the Options button in the Tool bar.

Image Location Search Option

The Paragon Data View displays the document image by knowing the image location from the database. If the image file name from the database is not applicable, there are options for Paragon Data View looking for image file from CDROM, local drive or network drives. All the drives must be mapped by drive letters. The other way to setup alternative search is to setup the storage lookup table.

Grid Data View Options

It takes times to load the data into Data View Window, if the searched data are huge. The option is to limit the number of records to load into Data View Window at a time. The default number is 300.

Tree View Data Options

It takes times to load the data into Tree View Window, if the searched data are huge. The option is to limit the number of records to load into Tree View Window at a time. The default number is 0, which means no limitation. The other way to limit the number of records is to select Display Index Query Data Only option. When this option is selected, users can search the documents using the Index Searching, then switch to Tree view to get the folder structures, if the searching result is satisfied.

Printer Options

This is an option to adjust the size of the printing image.

System Options

• Combine TIFF pages for Drag and Drop - If the documents are Folder TIFF, then this option is for combining the TIFF file to other application.

• Show TIFF Markup (Wang Format) - PDV will display the markup layer, if TIFF file is the Wang Format

• Trace Events for Debugging - Only use for tracking program logic
