PDS - release Module menubar descriptions

The menu bar at the top of the PDS Release screen contains a variety of options that have been logically grouped together. Single-clicking on the word will reveal the drop-down menu for each logical grouping.


.. 		File
  • Printer Setup - brings up the default printer setup window.
  • Exit - closes the Paragon Data Suite Release Module.

.. 		Release
  • Release Batches - Releases the Batches in the Batches to be Processed Window.
  • Release Setup ... - brings up the Release Settings window.
  • Batch Setup Information ... - brings up information on PDS Index, Import, OCR, Release, and FTS.
  • Document Counts in Batches ... - brings up a summary window of the number of images and documents in a batch.
  • Fetch Release Batches from Job Queue - obtains Batches from the job queue.

..		 Event Logs
  • Print Event Logs ... - prints the information in the Event Logs.
  • Clear Event Logs - erases the information in the Event Logs.
  • Display Batch Event History - displays the batch event history.

..		 View
  • Event Window on Bottom - arranges the PDS Release page with the Batches to be Processed and Document List windows arranged evenly, and the Event Logs window sized larger for ease of viewing.
  • Default Tile Windows - arranges the PDS Release page with the Batches to be Processed and Document List windows arranged evenly, and the same height as the Event Logs window. 
  • Batch Window on Left - arrange the PDS Release page with the Batches to be Processed window maximized to the largest available vertical size, and the Document List window arranged above the Event Logs window which is sized larger for ease of viewing.
  • Show Batch Window - opens or highlights the Batch Window.
  • Show Document List Window - opens or highlights the Document List Window.
  • Show Event Status Window - opens or highlights the Event Status Window.
  • Show Document Image Window - opens or highlights the Document Image Window.
  • Show Index Data Window - opens a window that shows a table consisting of Document ID, Document Type, Department, and Document Title.
  • Show OCR Text Window - opens Microsoft's Notepad and displays the text of the selected document as it was OCRed.

.. 		Window
  • Cascade - arranges the windows in the Release module in a cascade fashion.
  • Tile - arranges the windows in the Release module in a tile fashion.
  • 1,2,3 ... - lists the windows that are open in the Release module and "checks" the one that is currently active (highlighted).

..		 Help
  • Help Topics ... - opens the available help topics.
  • Technical Support - displays information on how to reach us for Technical Support.
  • Manuals on Web ... - provides a path to PDS manuals on Paragon Partners' website.
  • Paragon Partners on Web ... - provides a path to Paragon Partners' website.
  • Questions or Report Errors ... - opens an email window for entry of questions or to report errors. The email address is auto-entered.
  • About Paragon Data Suite ... - shows a summary window with information about each PDS section.
  • About PDS Release Module ... - shows a summary window containing Version, Copyright, and License information.
