What Does It Do?

The Paragon Data Index Module is a component of the Paragon Data Suite software. Once documents are scanned or imported in the Paragon Data Suite program, they are passed to the Paragon Data Index Module to define index values so the documents may be easily retrieved and viewed at a later time using the Paragon Data View Module.

If barcodes were used to identify the documents, or a zonal OCR batch template was selected at scan time, the automated indexing information is passed to the Paragon Data Index Module. If additional information is needed to identify documents, it may be obtained using the “Dynamic Zonal OCR”, pull-down menus or sticky field features of the Paragon Data Index Module or by typing the information into the index fields.

The Paragon Data Index Module displays the scanned image and presents the data entry operator with a simple data entry screen. The index field layout can be customized using the fields of information from your database. All index data can be viewed by clicking on the Data List icon and a thumbnail view of all documents is available by clicking on the View Document Images icon.
