Acquire Documents - TWAIN Select Source: 
This window allows the user to specify perimeters related to scanning, to scan/acquire documents, and to see information related to the documents being scanned. In particular, the window provides the following items:

  • Document - shows the name of the document being scanned.

  • Page Count - shows the total page count for the document being scanned.

  • Doc Count - shows the total document count for the batch being scanned.

  • Preview Image or Color Image - allows for viewing of the document being scanned.

  • Auto Feed - allows for setting the scanner to auto-feed the documents when the scan button is clicked.

  • Auto Count - sets the program to count the documents and document pages being scanned.

  • Feeder / Flat-Bed radio buttons - allows the user to select the type of scanning being performed. Only one of the two radio buttons can be clicked at any one time.

  • Documents to be Scanned - lists the documents assigned to be scanned.

  • Pages in Document - lists the pages in the document being scanned.

  • Dots Per Inch - allows the user to set the Dots Per Inch of the documents being (or to be) scanned.

  • Auto Trim - allows the scanning software to trim the BLANK edge around the document being scanned.

  • Invert Image - allows the user to set the scanner to invert the image as it is being scanned.
Close - Clicking this button closes the TWAIN Select Source [Acquire Documents] window within the PDS Import Module.

Scan - Clicking this document starts the scanning process.

New Document - Clicking this button adds a new document.

Stop Scanning - Clicking this button stops the scanning process.

Separate/End Documents - Clicking this button will perform on of two functions; it will separate the pages being scanned into separate documents, or it will end the document being scanned (and prepare the software for scanning the next document).

Select Scanner - Clicking this button allows the user to select the scanner to be used..
