Title Research and Examination

Paragon researches records, documents, and reports to ascertain the history and status of the title (ownership) of specific properties and conducts curative work as required work to resolve any title problems uncovered during the research. This research includes both surface and mineral rights as well as prior rights. Additionally, Paragon researches property records to identify current easements and the status of third party interests or other property rights.

Paragon’s title staff members have backgrounds in public, private, commercial and residential real estate; this background helps them research, analyze and address both routine and complicated ownership issues. Our title associates specialize in complex title issues (such as railroad right of way) and have been contracted by large commercial title companies to handle the most difficult title problems.
