Project Name: Jurupa 69 kV Transmission Line Project

Project Description

As part of the Riverside Energy Resource Center (RERC) project, a 96 megawatt (MW) gas turbine power plant on a 14-acre site, in the City of Riverside, California. The City of Riverside Public Utilities constructed approximately 1.75 miles of new double circuit 69kV transmission line interconnecting RERC to the Mountain View substation.

The transmission line route, supported on wood or steel poles, left the plant site and traveled east along the south side of Jurupa Avenue along the existing overhead pole line. The line turned south at Shepherd following the east side of the street and tied in to the existing Mt. View Substation. Paragon was responsible for right of way acquisition and related activities for 186 parcels.
