Client: Questar Southern Trails Pipeline Company
Project Name: Southern Trails Pipeline (Line 90)

LOCATION

Northwestern New Mexico’s San Juan Basin to Long Beach, CA

Project Description

Paragon conducted the due diligence needed in order to complete the purchase of a 700-mile pipeline from ARCO Pipeline Company and secured the property rights deficits.

The pipeline had previously been operated as a crude oil line and Paragon assisted in obtaining new rights from government agencies, corporations, and private individuals that allowed for the conversion to a natural gas pipeline.

Paragon obtained easement rights for an 8-mile reroute in California and a new 35-mile pipeline in New Mexico. Both lines involved governmental agencies and individual property owners but the New Mexico line also involved obtaining consent to cross 7 Navajo allotments containing 149 individual allottees.

Paragon obtained new rights for valve sites and compressor stations. Paragon also continues to provide the day-to-day interface with developers, property owners, and contractors needed in order to enforce Questar’s property rights.
